Open Doors
Open Doors is a non-denominational mission supporting persecuted Christians in the world. They work with local partners to distribute Bibles and Christian literature, give discipleship training and provide practical support, such as emergency relief aid.
Every year, Open Doors produce the World Watch List which is a ranking of the 50 countries where Christians face the most extreme persecution.
Prisoners Abroad
Prisoners Abroad is a charity that helps British people who are imprisoned overseas, wherever they are detained. Prisoners Abroad provide grants for food and safe drinking water in countries where prison conditions are at their worst, as well as practical help to reduce the often crippling isolation.
As the only organisation providing support to people in these circumstances, it is crucial Prisoners Abroad can be there. Last year Prisoners Abroad assisted over 1,200 British prisoners, in 100 countries, many whose lives depended on our support. As a relatively small charity, donations from individuals have the potential to make an enormous and direct impact. Prisoners Abroad are always happy to speak with anyone who is considering supporting their work, and understanding more about what their donation could fund.
